In September 2016, Patrick Spica Productions and France Télévisions released an hour-long video documentary (with English subtitles), which takes viewers behind the scenes at The Prince’s Palace of Monaco. The palace is the official residence of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco and his wife, HSH Princess Charlène of Monaco.
Head Chef, Christian Garcia is an able guide, showing viewers parts of the historic palace (dating back to 1191) and the kitchens. The Grimaldi Royal family has a 125 acre working farm to retreat to, called ‘Roc Agel’. It is situated near Peille, in France. Garcia shows us the dairy cows, some of the cheese made from their milk and the organic kitchen garden.
The Head Chef is tasked with seeking out high quality products, for the guests of the Royal couple and we get scenes of buying trips for balsamic vinegar and cave-dried ham.
