He had known Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II since he was a teenager and held the position of the Queen’s racing manager 1969-2001. After his death, his son-in-law John Warren, became the Queen’s racing manager.

CHOCOLATE POTS
Makes 4 small ramekins (about 500ml)
300ml single cream
A few drops of vanilla extract (not flavouring)
175g dark chocolate minimum 70% cocoa, finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
Pinch of salt
Heat the cream and vanilla in a small saucepan over a low heat and bring to a gentle simmer. Pour the cream over the chocolate in a heatproof bowl, and stir in the cream gently, so the chocolat melts. add a beaten egg with a pinch of salt and mix together. Pour into ramekins and chill in the fridge, covered, until set, preferbly overnight.
A recipe with a back story, which is low carb, with no added sugar. Simple to make, yet sure to impress and simple enough for children to get involved.
